Qigong Yoga with Alison
Qigong (pronounced chee-gong) is a form of traditional Chinese mind/body exercise and meditation that uses slow and precise body movements with controlled breathing and mental focusing to improve balance, flexibility, muscle strength, and overall health.

Qi means “life force,” the energy that powers our body and spirit. Gong is the term meaning work or gather.

Qigong is a practice to encourage the free flow of Qi through our meridians (energy pathways).
Gentle Somatic Yoga® with James
Gentle Somatic Yoga® (GSY) is a science based, heart-centered, and whole body approach for deep self-care and self-healing.

GSY incorporates therapeutic somatic movements that are designed to help you feel more comfortable in your body and amplify your immune system.

For many people this easily accessible method is ideal for letting go of persistent stress-based patterns of pain, stiffness, and postural imbalances.

Through a process of brain-to-muscle repatterning most people find beneficial results that are immediate and long lasting.

  • Peace of mind

"This weekend was so wonderful.  James, you are a gift to the world.  My soma has experienced so much healing from your teaching and practice.  For me, one of the best things about your teaching is your personal embodiment of all the things you teach.  I love your humble attitude, your honesty, your compassion, your acceptance of all of us.  Because you are so real, I believe your methods and teaching are more powerful because we can relate to you, and therefore trust you.  I look forward to the next deep dive weekend."

Alison has enjoyed teaching Dru Yoga since 2008 in various settings, including Health Clubs, the NHS, Mental Health Charites and Collages in Glasgow, Scotland.
