Certification Option
CURRENTLY OUR CERTIFICATION OPTION IS AVAILABLE FOR GSY LEVELS 1 & 2 TRAINING SEPARATELY
After successfully completing each of your Gentle Somatic Yoga® (GSY) training courses, you automatically receive a GSY Certificate of Completion. This achievement demonstrates your commitment to the science and embodied practice of Gentle Somatic Yoga®.
In addition, if you would like to be recognized and featured as a GSY Certified Practitioner, there is an option to do this for GSY Levels 1 & 2 by purchasing the certfication option, along with completing and passing the required teachback video (full instructions HERE). The teachback video is evaluated either by James Knight or by one of our GSY Facutly, after which a detailed feedback form is returned to the student.
Becoming certified is advisable if you plan to teach the GSY method, either one-on-one or in a group setting, as part of your professional instruction service(s) and want to be recognized as a leader in this industry.
No Time Constraints:
When signing up to take our GSY Levels 1 or 2 courses you do not have to decide immediately to purchase the certification option. Once you have completed the course you can choose this option at a later date. Also, there is no time limit to send in your teachback video.

Added benefit of Certification: Gentle Somatic Yoga routinely receives requests from individuals and professional organizations seeking certified GSY Practitioners in their area. When you become certified as a GSY practitioner you recieve a dedicated page of your very own in the GSY Graduate Directory listed on our website. This includes your professional information, bio, website link and other contact information. This is an important means of having referrals sent your way and also networking with our global community.
