FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What happens after the 7-day free trial? 

The membership starts at the end of your free trial period.  You will not be billed until after the 7th day.  If you cancel before Day 7, there will be no charge on your card.

Can I cancel if I want at any time?

Yes, you may cancel at any time.  Once you cancel, you will no longer have access to the on-demand library of videos.

How does the billing work?

There are three ways to become a member: monthly, quarterly or annually.  Depending on which plan you choose, you will either be billed monthly, quarterly or once a year.

Will my membership be automatically renewed?

Yes, unless we hear from you before the renewal date. However, we will work with you to get a refund once you reach out to us. We value our clients greatly.

About Gentle Somatic Yoga®

Gentle Somatic Yoga (GSY) incorporates therapeutic yoga & somatic movements that are slow, mindful and intuitive. Through connecting these movements with the Sensory Motor Cortex of the brain, you are introduced to ways of self-correcting and possibly, permanently releasing persistent stress-based patterns (chronic pain and stiffness) from within their body (Soma).

Instead of stretching muscles, GSY utilizes the technique of pandiculation to reprogram muscle groups to their most optimal length in a resting position. The gentle flow sequences, called Somatic Movement Flows®, are ideal for unwinding stiffness, pain and postural imbalances, and can still greatly increase flexibility in a safer way than stretching. GSY relies on a process of brain-to-muscle re-education. From this place of new-found freedom, we naturally return to our generative state of peace and well-being.

James Knight created Gentle Somatic Yoga (GSY) after spending 30+ years as an E-RYT (Experienced Yoga Teacher registered with Yoga Alliance), CHSE (Certified Hanna Somatic Educator) and Integrative Therapist. He continually creates new GSY sequences as he learns more about neuroscience and self-healing.

His passion is to inspire and guide others into fulfilling their greatest potential in every aspect of themselves: physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually.
