A MONTHLY 2-Hour Livestream Experiential Somatic Movement Workshop
October 24, 2026 • 10:00 AM–12:00 PM (PDT)
Theme: The Evolving Practice of Gentle Somatic Yoga®
Fresh from facilitating Gentle Somatic Yoga® Levels 1 and 3 trainings in the UK, James returns inspired by the discoveries, questions, and shared explorations that emerged while working with students there. Experience a traditional GSY practice infused with some of the newest enhancements to our Somatic Movement Flows®—offering fresh possibilities for greater ease, mobility, nervous system regulation, and whole-self nourishment.
Through slow, mindful, neuroscience-informed and heart-led movement, you’ll be invited to deepen your somatic awareness, listen inwardly, and discover what feels supportive for your unique soma.
Facilitated by James Knight. Everyone is welcome!
More Information
This monthly series of livestream Somatic Wisdom Live!™ EXPERIENTIAL workshops, are designed to bring balance and nourishment to the whole-self (Mind, Body, Emotions, Energy, and Spirit). Learn and discover more what you soma craves for deep self-care.
Learning format: 90-min. somatic movement practice, followed by an optional 30-min. Q & A session to help you customize your practice.
In stressful life experiences, we can temporarily lose our ability to self-regulate and control our physiology. In Gentle Somatic Yoga® we call this sensory motor amnesia (SMA). When we are in this state, natural everyday movement can become limited and less enjoyable.
With an attitude of exploration, we can learn how to listen to our inherent somatic wisdom and intuitively unwind from stressful life experiences stored in our tissues (muscles and fascia) and energy field. We can initiate this process through finding creative body shapes through Somatic Movement Flows® and meditation (soma scans).
All are welcome! These practices are designed and adaptable for most people and skill levels.
For more specific information on each month’s theme, please visit our landing page for Somatic Wisdom Live!™ HERE.

Aging is not the ending of your story—it is an invitation to keep writing it.
Join me, James Knight, for a transformational four-part journey that will redefine your relationship with your body (soma) and deepen your awareness of what you innate Somatic Wisdom is.
This livestream workshop series is an invitation to remember, repattern, strengthen, and embody a version of yourself with more freedom, resilience, and joy than you may have thought possible.
Series Overview
There is no single destination here. Only doorways—one opening after another, each leading you deeper into yourself.
The deeper invitation is to cultivate a lifelong relationship with your body through curiosity rather than fear, exploration rather than limitation, and wisdom rather than striving.
Most movement education teaches people what to do. Somatic Wisdom™ teaches people how to listen. When we learn to listen, we rediscover our innate capacity to self-correct, adapt, and thrive.
This is not a temporary fix or a bandage. It is the ongoing process of rewiring the brain, strengthening the body, reclaiming forgotten parts of ourselves, and developing the confidence to move through life with greater freedom, pleasure, and resilience.
Healthy aging is about far more than preserving any single capacity—it is about cultivating a lifelong relationship with the wisdom of your own body, one that can strengthen every dimension of how you move, feel, and live as you age.
In this four-part series, I’ll introduce you to a fresh perspective on healthy aging through the lens of Somatic Wisdom™. Rather than focusing solely on muscles, flexibility, or exercise, participants will learn how the nervous system, brain-to-muscle communication, and mindful movement work together to create resilient strength, greater ease, and more pleasure in everyday movement.
Each session in this series combines Gentle Somatic Yoga®, Somatic Movement Flows®, and practical strategies that can immediately be integrated into daily life. While every practice in the series stands on its own, together they offer a progressive journey from increasing awareness to creating sustainable movement patterns that support resilience, independence, and vitality for years to come.
Whether navigating stiffness, recovering from injury, managing bone or joint concerns, or simply wanting to move through life with greater confidence and vitality, participants will discover that generative change remains possible at every stage of life.
Rather than viewing aging as a process of decline, this series invites a new perspective—one of curiosity, exploration, and discovery. Through cultivating Somatic Wisdom™, you will learn to trust their body’s innate capacity for adaptation, resilience, and lifelong growth. Aging becomes not an ending, but an invitation to continue evolving, learning, and embodying greater freedom.
